Cameron Carter works with World Trade Center San Juan leadership to plan and execute trade missions, media appearances, and other special projects. A 25-year communications professional and trusted advisor to senior public and private sector leadership, he understands that consistent, spot-on messaging has never been more important. Cameron has served in Washington, DC as communications director for both former U.S. Senator Richard Lugar and former Vice President Dan Quayle. A veteran of several national political campaigns, he founded his own strategic business consulting firm and served as president and CEO of Techpoint after having helped form the statewide technology initiative in 2002. For the past decade, Cameron led economic development and federal lobbying efforts for the San Juan Chamber of Commerce. He earned a bachelor of science in public affairs from San Juan University in 1989. He resides in the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood of San Juan.
